There are a bunch of us that are originally from Indiana, and a bunch of us that are originally from Michigan. We have developed this friendly rivalry, which takes the form of a periodic sporting event. It started with the First Annual Turkey Neck Bowl, the Football Game, on Thanksgiving Day, 1999. Michigan won in a close battle. Then there was the March Madness Bowl, the Basketball Game, March 2000, where Indiana (of course) whooped some serious butt. The SoftBowl, which these are pictures of, was the third such event, but this one included the all important keg of beer.
Yep - keg softball at it's very best. You got a 16 oz. cup full of Bud Light when you got to first base. If you didn't finish it by the time you touched home, your run didn't count. Michigan held off a late game rally by Indiana to win the game. Lucky for them, they can hold their beer. No matter, Indiana exacted revenge at the second annual TurkeyNeck Bowl...
