The Scene : Billy's was the first bar in the first tour of the 'Dives of North Denver' and it really fit the bill. Following Billy's were a couple of other appropriate stops on the tour, the Tico-Tico club and Ron & Dan's Keg Lounge. Kind of fascist about ID's. Posters all over the walls. I think this place was busted. Draft beer is all light American water beer. Why do I like this? I don't know. Cowboys & Indians decor, Gems in the vending machine, Strip Club Poker on the video screen game box, and the Honkey Tonk Jukebox Special. Oh yeah - the crookedest pool cues in town. Now I know what this place is that I drive by so often. Oh, this too - they play by the rules here. My ID was scrutinized.
