Comedy Works

The Scene : This Thursday was a little something special, as GoddessOfGrooveFly had provided us her stock of 20 free tickets to the Comedy Works. The turnout was a perfect 18, and the fun started right away. After the show, we returned to our pre-show meeting spot, Sambuca Jazz Cafe, were we found the smooth sounds of good live jazz playing for a full house. From here, we went to the Lucky Star, but by then we were too involved in the 80's music playing there, that we didn't record the experience.

Great place to go with a large group, small group, or even alone. You are guaranteed to get a smile on your face. From Pez heads to the pussy man made me crack tonight. Environment is chill,. but the wait staff is a little still about the 2 drink minimum. - ?

The only comedy club in Denver, that I know of anyway. Good stuff tonight, and a bunch of fun with a large and new mix of flies out for a good laugh. The drinks are tasty, so the 2-drink minimum isn't a problem. I think I'll have another. - FireFly
