Goosetown Tavern

The Scene : The Goosetown was a lead-in to a show at the Bluebird that was our ultimate destination. It was another place a few of us had been to and a few of us hadn't. It's generally different than the other Colfax bars, as you will see. Plus, if you're headed for a show at the Bluebird it makes a great start/end spot. After this night's show, the PS Lounge was were we found ourselves.

I smelled da pizza! Being formerly staffed at an architecural firm that originally designed this place (back when it was a coffee bar called 'Across the Street') this is my first time here. How fucked up is that?!? It's much better as a bar. Good down to earth crowd. The girls say the men are ugly, the women are scarce, but it's all good. Gotta kill Kenny now. I'm a bastard! - TikiFly

Well, OK bar. I went to the bathroom & almost fell into the toilet! The seat was broken & then I just saw the whole other room. Just waiting to go across the street & boogie. - FaeryDustFly

There were a bunch of cute chicks when we got here. Only a few left. Maybe I'll go talk to one of them. They don't seem the stand-offish type. I got a free pizza, partially because I screwed up - partially because this bar is righteous. Good T&T. Lots on tap. Oh, yeah. The pizza is good, too. Nice---hard wood, brick, good b-tender. Diamond in the rough on Colfax. Extensive menu, quick service, A little shy on to "cute" people pool. The lighting in the bar is deceiving... This is the place where everybody knows your name! I can walk to from my house, drink a beer, eat some yummy hummuh and hang out with my neighbors. Love the beer selection. Great place for a pit stop to regroup and head on to wilder & crazier times. Comfort bar - yeah, that's it. - ButtaFly
