The Scene : Govnr's Park, this week's starter spot, is a place most of us had been to many times. The holidays were fast approaching, and the relatively light turnout of fifteen or so was a reflection of that. Nonetheless, much fun was had by all, helped by the reserved pool table (thanks Gov's). From here we flew off to Club Vinyl, where we finished the night to the thumpin' and jivin' that Vinyl is about....

Gov's what can I say? It used to be home away from home. But honestly-yuppie bar- they have pool tables for some fun and a golf game that the boys seem to love. Nice wait staff. Good local bar and they have killer artichoke dip! - FaerydustFly

Located across the street from the "haunted" and rarely inhabited Governor's Mansion, the bar has fine management….great waitresses…good food on the right day….All in all a cozy local hang out for all kinds. Pool,Golden Tee…and all the happy hour cheese you can handle. J.D. rocks! - MagnumP.Fly

One of the best neighborhood bars in Denver. Pool tables everywhere and good food. I've spent a lot of quality hours at "the gov". I love the neighborhood and the patio in the summer is great! The nachos are unbeatable! I love the atmosphere and I always run into friends or aquintances. - Carolyn
