Margarita Bay Club
The Scene : The Margarita Bay Club was the first of three places we made it to this Thursday. It was yet another place few of us had been to, but all of us were glad to find out about. Following this, we headed to Herman's Hideaway, and then on to BJ's Carousel. Be sure to check those out, too, especially BJ's. It was quite the surprise....

Very colorful, with a plastic man w/a sombrero & a Denver Bronco's sweatshirt on? Olé. - ? Nice casual atmosphere (great for chillin with the crew). Not the ideal place for people watching but a good starting place with tasty margs and so-so service. - SmorFly Yummy BIG margs. Burritos with the right amount of sting - too much at first, too little at the end. Pretty much a restaurant, but a pretty casually hip one. Lots of good eye-candy, though not really any chicks, not really any cute ones anyway. Oh well. The margs make up for it, though you may have to work to get one. - FireFly Food great. Lots of wood and neighborhood feel. Strange Corona "setup". - PanicFly & Mrs. PanicFly Good, quiet neighborhood bar! I see groups, not a lot of couples or singles and of course the woman selection is limited, as usual. - TikiFly Little to the knowledge of others around, the Margarita Bay Club was a brothel in the 1800's, also another bar. Bad bar service, but worthy food for a good price. On to Herman's Hideaway - EarlyFly |
