Mead St. Station

The Scene : After a short stint at the divey Lakeview Lounge, we found ourselves in the Highland Square area at the Mead St. Station. The Mead St. was far more to our liking, and, though it closed early, provided us a great place to hang for a while. After we got the boot at closing time here, we unsuccessfully attempted to find a bar with a little more action downtown. No matter, the night was buzzy as we like to have it...

The Buzz From The Flies

Not a bad place. Little too chill, but what can you really expect on a Thursday night in Denver. Anywho, nice relaxed atmosphere and the waitress was prompt with our beer order. Quality establishment, has lot's of potential and I liked the band. CHARLIE BATCH and I am OUT. - Flyzerman

Mead St. is a constant here @ 32nd & Lowell. A schlew of stores/rest./bars have come and gone while MSS remains triumphant. Good selections of drafts and phenomenal food. Try the snap peas, they melt in your mouth. Sitting outside is an experience in community and peaceful good times, though the live music is harder to hear. - PanicFly

Great music here at Mead St! One curious observation is the supreme example of a mullett we have sitting across from us. I have mulletsgalore.com on the brain. I've been absent as of late, but plan to partake in more fly activities in the future. This is a great gathering place - relaxed, not too crowded. No particular type of crowd (this brings me back to the mullet, but I digress...). A cool choice for the club to congregate! - WhyFly
