The Scene : It was Thanksgiving Day, or the evening after anyway, and most of us had been drinking and eating all day. That, however, didn't keep us from this special Thursday night fun flight, where the combination of the fact that no one had to work the next day, and we were going to hit our 100th bar this night, made this flight a new and different twist. We started the night at Shakespeare's, where games of pool, many drinks, and the usual buzz of the flies kept the triptifin at bay. From here, the search for another open-on-Thanksgiving spot began and ended at our 100th bar, the Giggling Grizzly. Amazing, but the all day fun turned into all night fun, and the lights were on at the Grizzly before we were ready to go ....

On the Millennium Thanksgiving, the Barflies make Shakespeare's their (our) proverbial Plymouth Rock. As we docked our ships on the uncharted waters of the majestic Platte River, we began to shake off the lingering effects of triptifin. With flies abroad, I am surprised at the turnout. Shakespeare's is a pool hall that seems to be a little tough to get a drink at. Despite the lethargic drink delivery, this place just passes as an adequate hang-spot. Could use some ventilation, but no matter... With the flies in the house.. This place seems better already. - MagnumP.Fly

This place works. Many pool tables. Central raised platform in the middle just makes me want to booze. Too bad I don't have a drink. Time to check out the bar. - SoulFly

Well, it's Thanksgiving and this place is a pretty happening place. Great friends sitting around having a few drinks. Okay - a lot of drinks. Some pool playing going on and great conversations. Must check this place out... ThongFly

Hey...FlyGirl here!! Well, I was officially inducted into the club tonight. Sneek & Peek grabbed my ass. I now can only say good things about the bar (although not being able to order from the bar at first pissed me off) As for the prices, I've yet to pay for my tab. It's Thanksgiving, and, since my full belly, I've now got the 100th bar to look forward to. Until then...Drink Up! - FlyGirl
