Sportsfield Restaurant & Lounge
The Scene : The Sportsfield was the first place we stopped on this night, with the ultimate destination being Quixote's True Blue. It was April 20th you know, and Quixote's, being a Grateful Dead bar seemed an appropriate place to celebrate. The Sportsfield, as it turns out, was a great place to start out, to get some chatting in before music made that difficult, and to get a few stiffy drinks in us.

Sportfield is very cool. Deborah is a star and said she will work us a deal for a group for the bands on Friday night. I like it alot.--UncleFly The zig-zaggy bar fits us very well. A weird mix of music in the juke box, Chili Peppers now, Hank Williams, some Whitesnake, I think, too. Comfy, but quiet. Seems homey to the over 40 crowd, but homey too me. Live music but not tonight. good drinks and comfy chairs a great place to straighten out what twists you up. - FireFly Nice, some guy bought unclefly a beer and then realized we were all with her and brought brian and I a beer. Nice, but now I think about it . I think that first beer was for Brian. #1 special sandwich for Brian. What do you think is the special sauce? - ButtonFly This place is quiet for 4/20. I like it to chill and play. No one will see you here if you feel like playing. - SuperFly |
